Hi there! My name is Megan Wright! I am a Boise, Idaho based photographer. Although I do base out of Boise, I am fortunate in that I am able to travel for work as well! I love walking into a new environment, and dreaming up a plan for how to make it best work for my clients! I specialize in families, weddings, seniors, and anything with a lifestyle feel. If I had to just pick one genre of photography to focus on, I would get bored I think, so I tend to do a little bit of everything! It keeps me creative! I also offer studio options. My style is very rich, colorful and true to life! Spending time photographing people in their environments and out in the world is something I truly enjoy and never take for granted! It is my feeling that everyone has a story to tell and each one is unique and beautiful! My goal is to always share each story in a way that is honest and that documents authentic memories! This lends itself to a natural, fun and photojournalistic way of capturing people.
Lifestyle sessions are a definite favorite of mine! I love including any family members... so pets are always welcome! Lifestyle sessions are a truly wonderful way to document your family's home and save the memories of the spaces your family lives and grows in!
Wedding days are beautiful and full of so much emotion! I never want to miss a thing! While photographing weddings, it think it is really important to balance direction with natural flow and interaction. This gives you everything you hope to see in an album... the framer images and the fun ones too!
The studio gives my clients and I the ability to lay out a session in a very specific way. I enjoy combining color elements to create an editorial/magazine layout kind of feel!
