I love photographs, for as long as I can remember myself and my older sister stayed summers with my grandparents in Harlem (NYC), Every time we went out whether it was Disney World, the pool or the playground photographs were being taken, guess where they ended up? On grams walls, soon after the walls were full of photographs literally from top to bottom, we enjoyed them so much because we knew what happened every single time we saw different photographs emerge onto the walls. Photographs are truly worth a thousand words. At the age of twelve I started buying disposable cameras, I snapped anything and everything I could get my hands on, whether it be an animal, still object, or my sisters, my love grew and grew and twenty years later I decided to take control and create memories for others to enjoy like this family I am featuring today, the Reimmers.
I met the Reimmers at a baby expo I participated in this past April, they let me know they never got around to taking professional photographs since his birth. We started the family session at the Prospect Park Zoo located in Brooklyn, NY, at the start of the session he was sleeping, his parent's woke him up and he wasn't happy about it, I let him warm up, walk around, get excited and after that he was un-stoppable!
I really enjoyed the session and they were over the moon when they saw the gallery!
I love to hold onto memories, I love to look at pictures and tell you about what happened that day, I love authenticity, natural interactions and well pure happiness.
