Designing my invites was a lot of fun. So much about them is customizable, so you can make them your own. I liked a few different designs, so I ordered samples. I thought I hadn't received them at first, so I reached out to customer service. They responded quickly, and were so nice and helpful. They expedited a new shipment of my samples and refunded me. Silly me, I ended up finding them tucked in between a couple of bigger packages, and I just hadn't seen them. I responded to the customer service rep and let her know. I expected them to charge my card again, but they didn't. They said it was no problem, and thanks for letting them know. Then, when my actual invitation order arrived, they were so beautiful. They arrived several days earlier than scheduled, and I'm so happy with them. They are stunning! My whole experience has been great, and I will recommend them to anyone who asks.

I had some issues with the website when I was designing my invitation. When I went to check out, the proof showed rounded edges but then after purchase the receipt email stated that I had selected bracket edges. I contacted customer service and they were amazingly helpful. They fixed my order and rushed them to me through the USPS. Unfortunately, USPS lost them and sent them all over before I had to go pick them up in person a few days later... but that is not the fault of this company. I spoke with customer service about the website glitches and they stated that they would make the technical team aware.
The cards were of a good quality. I ordered a sample of the matte and gloss ahead of time. The matte is like card stock and the gloss looks more like a photo.

I found Basic Invite because I was quoted over 2K to outsource wedding invitations with other companies and was absolutely shocked about how expensive they were. So I started to look at other companies to DIY them.

I ordered a sample because I wasn’t sure about the quality of paper and how the ‘champagne’ colored background was going feel and look. I was absolutely blown away about the quality of paper. They have a soft touch feel to them which I’ve NEVER seen. The champagne colored background we chose was perfect. We were looking for a nice soft ivory/champagne and it’s just what we wanted!

I can’t wait to order all my invitations! They checked every single box my fiancé and I were looking for. Plus we are saving thousands of dollars doing them ourselves. I am so excited for my guests to see them!
