I’ve been very pleased with basic invite! I uploaded my own designs for our save the date postcards and wedding invitations. The designs uploaded smoothly and turned out great. We had a couple of issues with our orders but the customer service was quick and super helpful.
I uploaded my own design to be printed and it turned out amazing! They sent me a packet with a sample in it to see how everything would look! I went back to order and they came even better! The customer service is also 10/10! They responded quickly to my questions and provided helpful answers! Would definitely print with them again!
We ordered the "upload your own" invitation and insert cards for our May wedding. The ordering process, shipping and price were all great. We received the invitations before the requested date and they were packaged nicely. We did have an issue with the colors being all cohesive on the invite and the rsvp cards. Each of the inserts were all a slightly different color than the other. We reached out to Basic Invite and received a quick response. They reviewed our order and got them reprinted ASAP. The rep even tracked the package and emailed me to make sure we were happy with the new product. We were and are so thankful for her help and the speedy reprint!
Customer support was so helpful after my order was messed up, but they sent me new invitations free of charge! Definitely go with smooth over matte. They turned out much better!
We had a great experience with Basic Invites! We wanted to create our own custom invites on canva because a lot of wedding invite websites didn't support features that we wanted, like full photo on the other side of the card, or QR code to the website. Basic Invites also seemed to be one of the few that 1) allowed us to use a high quality PDF instead of a jpeg 2) had slightly thicker paper for the envelopes (we ordered samples from other places and the envelopes were completely see-through!). Additionally we were so happy with the customer service after we needed a few addressed envelopes reprinted due to the font we selected slightly overlapping with the address line. If you do custom invites just remember to also update your own return address in the envelope edit stage, we almost missed this because the recipient address is done in the address book.
