What Our Customers Have to Say About Our Wedding Invitations
Excellent Review by Jossieann
Beautiful
We love! Review by Chelsea
We love our invitations. We upgraded the quality of them and I think it was really worth it. They feel and look great! They also shipped very fast, in like 10 days so that was awesome. My only complaint is the website is a little hard to use, not sure if it’s because it’s outdated or what but it’s glitchy at times and it gets frustrating when you’re trying to figure out what you want! But overall very happy
Very cute Review by Chelsea
Great addition to the invites! We put a QR code on the back of the registration/rsvp card so we could use a photo for our invite. I was hesitant to spend the extra cash but glad we did! Love the quality, my only complaint is the website is kinda difficult to use and made it hard to edit these.
Very cute and ties it all together! Review by Chelsea
Love these stickers. They are great for the price!! Definitely must buy when you’re making your invites, it’s a great personal touch!
Wedding Invitations As Unique As You Are
At Basic Invite, two essential beliefs form the foundation of our business model: that you should have complete creative control over your design process, and that the purpose of a wedding invitation is to tell your love story at a glance. While it may be impossible to fit every heartfelt gift, carefully-planned date, and declaration of love into one of our 5” x 7” designs (or even one of our larger Seal-and-Send wedding invitations), our extensive customization options can capture the essence of who you are as a couple. Once you’ve created the perfect invitation to tell your story so far, you can start writing the next chapter together- the one that begins with “I do.”

FAQ's About Wedding Invitations
What Is The Average Cost Of 100 Wedding Invitations?
The cost of 100 wedding invitations can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors, such as the design, quality of materials, printing method, and additional features like inserts, envelopes, and RSVP cards.
However on average, couples will spend $160 for 100 wedding invitations. However, it's important to keep in mind that this is just an estimate and the actual cost can be higher or lower depending on the factors mentioned above.
To get a more accurate estimate, add the card you would like to cart to find the best option that fits within your budget.
How Early Should You Send Out Your Wedding Invitations?
It's generally recommended to send out wedding invitations six to eight weeks before the wedding date. This gives your guests enough time to make travel arrangements, RSVP, and plan their schedules accordingly.
If you're planning a destination wedding or have guests who will need to make extensive travel arrangements, it's a good idea to send out your invitations eight to twelve weeks in advance to give them ample time to plan and prepare.
On the other hand, if you're planning a local wedding and most of your guests are local, you can send out your invitations closer to the six-week mark.
Regardless of when you send out your invitations, it's a good idea to give your guests a "save the date" notice several months in advance to ensure they have your wedding date blocked out on their calendar. This is especially important if you're planning a wedding during a busy time of year or if many of your guests will need to travel to attend.
How Many Wedding Invitations Should I Order?
When it comes to ordering wedding invitations, it's important to consider several factors to determine the right quantity to order. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
-
Guest list size: The number of invitations you need will depend on the number of guests you plan to invite. Make sure to include a few extra invitations for last-minute additions or for keepsakes.
-
Couples or families: Consider how many invitations will be sent to couples or families versus individual guests. Typically, one invitation is sent per household or couple, while individual guests receive their own invitations.
-
Extras: Consider ordering a few extra invitations in case of errors during addressing, or if you decide to invite additional guests later on.
As a general rule of thumb, it's recommended to order 10-15% more invitations than the number of guests on your list. This will help ensure you have enough invitations to cover any unexpected changes and to keep some as a keepsake.
Is A RSVP Card Necessary With A Wedding Invitation?
While a RSVP card is not absolutely necessary with a wedding invitation, it is highly recommended as it helps you to plan for the number of guests who will attend your wedding. Here are a few reasons why:
-
Convenience: Including a RSVP card makes it easy for guests to respond to your invitation as they don't have to worry about finding a piece of paper to write on or searching for an envelope to mail their response back to you.
-
Planning: Knowing the number of guests who will attend your wedding is crucial for planning seating arrangements, catering, and other logistics.
-
Politeness: Including a RSVP card is considered polite as it shows that you value your guests' responses and appreciate their effort in letting you know whether or not they will attend.
Overall, including a RSVP card with your wedding invitation is a thoughtful and practical way to ensure that you have an accurate headcount for your wedding day.
