In Remembrance

Our loved one was born July 10 in Anchorage, Alaska, to Adam and Alice Smith, the second child of seven siblings. Later our loved one attended college at the University of Illinois, where they met and married Chris Anderson. After graduation, they returned home to the Chicago area. Our loved one was an active member of the Chicago Unitarian Church, belonged to the Morton Arboretum Foundation, and worked with many local charities. Their interests included family, gardening, sewing, and reading. They devoted much of their time and energy as a caregiver to family members. They are survived by their sister, Virginia; brother, Carl; two sons, Adam and James & their spouses; and four grandchildren, Sarah, Jennifer, Jude, and Mateo.
