We are so excited to share in this special day with you. We have set up this site which covers all of the travel, hotel, and event information that you will find useful for attending our big day.

Our Story

Our story began in early April of 2013. Freddy was a pharmacy student at Rutgers, while P.J. was a physician assistant student at UMDNJ. Our campuses neighbored each other. The second we crossed paths on campus for the first time we immediately sparked a connection. Our first date was at one of the finest gourmet establishments that America has to offer- Panera Bread (the Piscataway, NJ location to be precise). After a wonderful and meaningful conversation that neither of us remember much of, the rest was history! Three and a half years into our relationship, P.J. thought the time was right to ask Freddy to be "the one." We had booked a long weekend trip to Austin, TX in December of 2016. The proposal plans changed when P.J. realized the only warm and dry day in the vacation was on the day of our arrival. As P.J. was experiencing an inner panic and felt pressed for time, Freddy was taking in all that Austin had to offer, completely oblivious of what was to come. It was at Mayfield Park, amidst the free-roaming peacocks, where P.J. decided to pop the question. Now here we are, a short time after that, planning the most exciting day of our lives. We are excited and honored for you to be a part of the next piece of our story.

About the Couple

P.J.

The first time I met Freddy, I was wearing flip flops and sweatpants while studying for a big exam I had later in the day. Attractive, eh? I didn't have much time to chat that day, however, I knew from the second we met that he was (and still is) perfect. We can all probably agree that I’m not always the easiest to deal with, especially when I'm stressed. I was in PA school when we met, which was one of the most stressful times of my life. He was able to put up with me then and continues to do so, always with a smile. I couldn’t be more ecstatic to be marrying the man of my dreams!

FREDDY

We met on a Friday in April. I know this because I was wearing dress clothes and my white coat to my Friday class when I approached P.J. for the first time. I figured he couldn't resist a guy in a tie - I'm glad I was right! That summer, John Legend released the song "All of Me" and I immediately realized exactly what I was feeling. We had only been dating for 3 months at the time, but every single word in that song resonated with me and I knew I was in love. That feeling has only gotten stronger as I realize every day how lucky I am to have P.J. by my side for the rest of my life.
