The wedding of Adrienne and Graham

April 27, 2019 - Baltimore, md

“All their life in this world and all their adventures had only been the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of the Great Story which no one on earth has read, which goes on forever, in which every chapter is better than the one before.” ~*~C.S. Lewis~*~

To our friends and family:

Thank you for your ongoing love and support. We are so excited to share this day with you and look forward to celebrating with all of our favorite people! Via this website, you can send us updates to your mailing address, meet our bridal party, learn a little more about us and, most importantly, RSVP to let us know you will be able to join us for our special day.

Our Story

We originally met more than 31 years ago at the Pioneer Club held at Abbott Memorial, Presbyterian Church (which might sound familiar as our ceremony site :-)) Some years later, we reconnected as Facebook friends. Fun fact: the first message James ever sent Tabitha on Facebook was him saying she ran over his foot with a shopping cart at Mars. This was a joke, of course since she is an excellent driver. -_- In August of 2017 we met up for a celebration and stayed up talking all night that night- and every day for the next three months before we had a chance to meet up in person again. The rest, as they say, is history.

FAQ

Q: What should I wear? A: Anything but white. Q: Can my child come? A. Yes, but be aware the reception venue is on the water and alcohol will be served if either of those is a concern for you. If you are bringing a child, please tell us their names and ages so we can assign them to your table and make sure age appropriate items are available at the "kiddie table" to entertain them. Q. Can my significant other come? A. Yes, and if your invitation came "and guest" please tell us their name so they can be included in the seating assignments. Q. I have a food allergy. A. Please make a note of this on your RSVP. The dinner does include sea food (crab), dairy and tree nuts. The caterer can make accommodations for you and is happy to do so if told in advance. Q. I didn't RSVP. Our final numbers and lists are due to the venue on March 28, 2019. If you need to make a change, call one of us immediately. We are not allowed to make changes past that date per our contract. Q: Where should I park? A: Street parking is available in the streets surrounding Abbott Memorial. At the reception, there is a large lot and you can park anywhere except the spaces designated by signage for the Yacht Club Officers. If you over-indulge, you may safely leave your car overnight. The lot will re-open at 9 AM. Q: What is an uplugged ceremony? A: We respectfully request that all cell phones, cameras and other recording devices be turned off and stowed for the ceremony. We would like our guests to be fully present in this important moment. Q: But I want pictures. A: There is an extremely talented woman (and her assistant!) who will be there heavily photographing the entire day. We promise she won't miss one moment and we will share the photos with you. You can also snap to your heart's content through the whole reception. There will even be a custom snapchat filter for you to use :) Q. How serious are you about the whole unplugged thing? A. This is really not a hill you want to die on. Turn the phone off for 20 minutes.

About the Couple

The Bride

The Bride

I think the moment I knew he was "the one" was when I had a work assignment that would take me to France for 10 weeks. It was only once I was on the plane I realized how much I would miss him. I never wanted to be without him again!

The Groom

The Groom

What can I say, she is amazing. Brilliant, creative, and adventurous. I have always been a little bit shy, and she has shown me a whole new side of life. I never want to go back to the way life was before I met her. She is my forever.

Our Story

Our Story
For our three year anniversary we wanted to re-create our first date. We went to the coffee shop where we met, and then to the small movie theater next door. Instead of a movie, he surprised me with a theater full of friends and family then proposed on stage. It is so meaningful to us to share this special day with our most cherished friends and family. We sincerely hope we will have the honor to dine, laugh, and dance with you on our wedding weekend. It would mean the world to us.
