Amanda Wheeler Photography

I am very excited and humbled to be featured in BasicInvite.com! Let me introduce myself. My name is Amanda Wheeler. I own Amanda Wheeler Photography. I am a natural light photographer based out of beautiful Helper, Utah. My style of photography is to evoke emotion and feeling rather than just taking a pretty picture. I am a true believer that a photo shoot should be fun and stress free.I am an artist at heart and love all things creative. I try to never take myself to seriously. I am very lucky to be able to do what I love everyday! A favorite quote that comes to mind would be by David Alan Harvey,

“Don’t shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like.”

This particular shoot took place in Huntington, Utah up Huntington Canyon. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend visiting. I love outdoor and natural light photography so much, and Huntington canyon is a favorite of mine. This bride wanted a country feel. Living where we do, there is never a shortage of fields and old farms.

As always, I wanted her personality to shine through. I think I accomplished just that! My goal was to make you smile and feel joy when viewing these images. With all photoshoots, I wanted to capture how she felt in this moment of her life.
