They say a photo is worth a thousand words, I say it’s worth a 1,000 moments. The moment you see your fiancé's face during your first look, the moment your child takes it’s first steps, the moment you were asked to spend the rest of your life with your best friend. All of these are moments I get to hold with me. Photography is so much more than just pretty images in a frame. Photos are moments that get to be shared with loved ones and passed on to the generations that will come after you. The moments that you can look at a photo and remember how hard you laughed or how hard you cried (happy tears).

I think for as long as I can remember I’ve had a camera in my hand. Whether it was a Polaroid, a point and shoot or the camera on my phone. It was May of 2016 when I told myself that there are no more excuses for pursuing my passion. I bought a camera and went to work.

I think one of the greatest parts about my job is the variety of photography I get to do. For example: interiors/architecture, portraiture and product. Since I’ve launched my business, I have been fortunate to work on some incredible projects. I have worked with Vans Girls, Summer Meddock of Meddock Interiors, Timothy Oulton Designs with HD Buttercup, Sakura Bloom featuring “The Sling Diaries” and LOCALE Magazine photographing Top Chefs in the Orange County area.

What can you expect from me? You can expect to feel relaxed, comfortable and you can definitely expect for me to make you laugh! If quoting FRIENDS isn’t your thing, then I’ll break out the dad jokes. My approach to portrait photography is to document our time together in a photojournalistic way. To photograph your hair blowing in the wind, to capture the stare into each other’s eyes when you thought no one was looking and to catch the moments you never want to forget.

One of my favorite sessions thus far must be The Meddock's in Newport Beach. We set a date, time and location and headed off to the water. This session perfectly represents my photography style, I am a huge fan of candid photos and catching families and couples in their natural state. I remember telling Matt and Summer “just let the kids run around and do their thing!” and that’s what we did. The kids had fun being silly and exploring their new surroundings while I was ready to capture the fun.

I think one of the greatest parts about this "job" is that no two sessions are the same. I love that every one has their own unique personality and style. Most of all, I am humbled by every opportunity to be creative. A special thank you to my wife who has been my biggest supporter since starting this journey. There's no one I would rather have by my side cheering me on.
