Alexandra Morin Photography | From Rustic Country to City Chic
Hi there! My name is Alexandra and I am a Boston-based lifestyle & wedding photographer and owner of Alexandra Morin Photography. My passion is wedding & engagement photography, but I also enjoy maternity, newborn, & family portraits! My style is a mix between photojournalistic and lifestyle.
I enjoy capturing raw emotion and story-telling through my lens. Warm, crisp, natural lighting, is what I enjoy most, more than anything else. My love for photography has blossomed from a very young age. Growing up in a small town in Massachusetts, I definitely have a sweet spot for photographing the warm sun in an open field with a weathered barn in the background and the always changing seasons, especially autumn. Although, summer in Boston is pretty amazing!
If I can freeze a significant moment in time for a couple to look back on forever, then I've done my job well. Nothing is more rewarding to me than providing my clients with a bright smile on their face and a gallery full of beautiful images.
My photographic journey started with film and transitioned to digital. (I will always have a place in my heart for film, though!) I am busier now more than ever and I am grateful I have such a flexible, fulfilling job. I love meeting and getting to know new families, couples, babies, and children, so I can tell their story visually through my photographs. My goal is to embrace each photo session and represent the individuality of each couple, individual, family, or child.
Pictured here is one of my all-time favorite photo sessions. I had the pleasure of photographing one of my best friends engagement session during the most beautiful season in New England. These images were shot in the woods in Lunenburg, MA, in October. The leaves had just turned from green to red, orange, and gold, the air was cool, the clouds floated across the sky, and the sun broke out in bursts. It was perfect!
The amount of love, laughter and bliss between the two of them is undeniable!
I had the pleasure of being a bridesmaid in their gorgeous summer time wedding in Groton, MA. They officially tied the knot on June 27, 2015.
