Photography: the art or practice of taking and processing photographs.

Photography has always been more than the definition. For me it’s always been a hobby. When I think back, it all started with taking pictures at my brother’s football games. Then from football games, it turned into getting a job at a local electronic store, in the camera department.

The time that I spent there made me fall further in love with photography. About 2 years into working there, I found out that my husband and I were now expecting. I then decided to leave my job and focus on making my passion into a business and soak up all that fast fading baby time. That’s where I came up with Breann Allen Photography.

Since then I’ve been able to not only make my business but also form a personal connections with all of my clients. This is something I hold near and dear to my heart. As without my amazing clients, I wouldn't be able to provide for my family as I do and for that I'm eternally thankful.

My favorite session so far has to be a surprise proposal that I did for Michael and Alexis at the begging of 2018. The destination was Sequoia National Park in Tulare County, CA. (Which if you've never been there, it’s definitely worth checking out. They have some amazing views there!)

We drove for 4 hours and hiked for an additional 2 hours. Shortly after arriving to the perfect spot, we took some pictures just as a normal session would go. I then separated them for a pose and gave Michael the thumbs up to get on one knee. I then told Alexis to turn around and thats when it finally sank in what was really going on. With tear filled eyes she said YES!

This surprise proposal took a ton of planning and strategy but so far has to be one of the most memorable yet.

Photography has never been a “job” for me. It’s something I fall further in love with the more I continue to do it. I pray that everyone finds this happy place in their own life.

“Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” -Mark Twain
