Capturing Memories to Last a Lifetime - Lifetime of Clicks Photography

Kelly, here. I’m the founder and photographer behind Lifetime of Clicks Photography.  Photography has been a love of mine from a very young age, but it wasn’t until I had two boys of my own that I realized how important capturing memories to last a lifetime was to me.

MY PASSION

Many of my clients contact me about capturing their complete journey, I call this the Baby Bundle.  I am always over joyed when clients come to me with this in mind because we get to know each other so well through this time. The Baby Bundle is the complete journey it includes a maternity photography session, birth photography session and newborn photography sessions.

The S family was a first time client and contacted me about doing The Baby Bundle. Knowing that her and her husband loved the outdoors and wanted the perfect golden light, I picked an open field in Houston that I use frequently. Throughout our session, the golden light streamed through the back of them making a picturesque backdrop and the Spanish moss swayed as a gust of wind came at just the right time.

After this gorgeous session I was really looking forward to our birth story session where we welcomed their wonderful, sweet son to the family.

Documenting a birth story is by far my favorite to document as it is suspenseful, emotional, and so incredibly moving. But there’s something that makes capturing a birth even more wonderful, and that’s when I get to follow a family’s story from pregnancy to birth to newborn baby. Today I have the honor of sharing how this loving family welcomed their baby into the world just a few short months ago.

She labored through out the night and we were finally blessed with Baby M around 11:00 pm.  As you can see, he was greeted with open arms and surrounded with love.

After being a part of the S family birth story, I was amazed  to see how much Baby M had grown in just a weeks time.   When they arrived at the studio Baby M wasn't completely asleep yet so we wrapped him up and captured some cute snugly shots and family family images.  By that point he was snug and warm and completely crashed out.

When I unwrapped him I was able to get those natural curled up pictures that parents always love to look back on.

And there you have it! An amazing birth story that I know will be treasured for generations to come.  Thanks for following along and taking a look into why I have fallen in love with birth photography and capturing families complete Baby journey.

I would like to leave you with one thing, birth photography is so much more than taking graphics pictures of a mother delivering her baby.  It's about capturing all the moments of labor, the raw emotion and all the love and support surrounding them on this perfect day.
