Let me tell you about this bridal session taken at a beautiful farm in East Texas. There was a breathtaking bride, a white stately farmhouse, a long lace button-back wedding dress...and a bright red tractor. Sounds perfectly southern, right?

Several weeks ago, I had the absolute honor of taking Jessica’s bridal portraits. She booked an extended session to capture photographs of her accessories and getting ready inside their family farmhouse. I loved the idea to say the least.

The pearl Bible above was signed by her grandparents when they were married. At Jessica's wedding, her parents and her husband's parents signed the Bible as well. Such a sweet moment.

I suggested beginning the session with a white robe and her veil. We took a few in the parlor, and she then put on her wedding gown for a few shots in front of the fireplace.

Jessica loves natural light, so we didn't spend too much time inside the farmhouse. We then headed out to the field for the rest of our session.

Had to capture those beautiful boots in one shot.

I love to include the bouquet in a hair/make-up shot. The beautiful colors pop against her skin and the tiny detail of lace on the dress.

This was my favorite shot from the day. I loved how we let her veil drop to one side showing the back of her beautiful dress. Her hand placement mimics her diamond shape earrings and enhances her slender figure.

Inspired by light and love, I have been photographing couples, brides, families, and babies since 2010. I love photography, and love my clients even more. I'm so grateful to be living out the dream God instilled in my heart years ago. I live in East Texas with my high school sweetheart and precious baby girl.
