“I believe that every photo shares a story, a moment in time that will never happen again. My intent is to share that story with the world.”
It all seriously started during the summer of 1997, the year I purchased my first film camera. The moment I picked it up and started shooting my every-day surroundings, like landscapes people, and murals, I was hooked. Through apprenticeships with several master photographers, I learned shooting techniques, lighting, and composition.
Although I enjoy capturing the beauty in all things, I have a deep nostalgia for family photographs. It’s like the joy I feel when l look at the pictures I took the day my daughter was born. I will never forget the way she looked at me and grateful I was able to capture that priceless moment.
I want my work to be representative of that. So in 50 years when that treasured photo is found in a memory box, my hope is that the same joy, wonder, or memory is felt.
My style?
I’m pretty versatile, but try to use as much natural lighting as possible, both indoors and outdoors. If you love pictures taken in front of spectacular backdrops such as natural landscapes, landmarks, or even the comfort of your own home, let’s chat.
I describe my style as honest, sincere, and heartfelt. I LISTEN to your stories so that I’m able to capture the story behind you. I love real moments; the laughter, the hugs, the snuggles and of course, the love.
