Hello, readers!
I am so honored and grateful for BasicInvite having me here. My name is Holly Goshorn and I am the photographer and Owner of H.G. Photography. I have been a photographer for two years now in the beautiful Greenville, SC where I specialize in portrait photography and wedding photography. Over these last two years I have met many families and couples who have become such a huge supporter in my journey of becoming a photographer. But there is one couple who I have not only gotten the pleasure to photograph but to also have gotten to know them on a more personal level.
Meet Cameron and Josh!
Their session was at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. The sun was going down, (about 30 minutes before sunset) which makes for the most gorgeous golden light. Sunset photo shoots are by far my favorite!
Before a photo session I always send my clients a PDF explaining tips on what to wear and how to prepare for their session. Cameron and Josh are naturals; they showed up dressed classy and coordinated perfectly! Their love for each other shined throughout the session through their giddy grins, tender kisses and a soft embrace. As I'm writing this I'm swooning over their photos all over again. Aren't they just perfect?
Sometimes my couples also like to bring another outfit for changes in style to help bring more variety within their session. Cameron and Josh took advantage of this option and really pulled it off! One tip that I like to give my couples for their wardrobe is to incorporate tones and patterns for accents with solid pieces. You can also add in necklaces, beanies, ties, scarves, etc. to give your look that little extra "pop".
Next year Cameron and Josh will be saying "I do" and I am so excited to be able to be a part of their special day. Getting to capture a couples engagement session and then get to be a part of their wedding day photography needs is a dream come true.
