My name is Jared, I'm a father of 7 children- 4 girls and 3 boys with another little one on the way in February of 2017. My wife is a rockstar in case you hadn't guessed. You can say our life is a bit crazy, some even think my wife and I are crazy for having such a large family but we wouldn't change a single thing about anything God has blessed us with thus far in our almost 15 years of marriage. Family is everything to us and maybe that's just one reason we became photographers. We hear all too often about how life is short and with everything happening around the world at the moment that idea has become a permanent caveat of the joy we get to experience here on earth. After graduating college with a 5 year architecture degree and a 4 year degree in design arts I decided that being my own boss and making my own hours would allow our family to experience life more fully together.
We love bringing joy to the people that come into our lives through our photography. There's nothing better than to receive a special little thank you note from one of our brides after the wedding day expressing their gratitude for making their day so special and one to remember through great imagery. We are blessed to be able to travel the world to tell love stories and share in those same joys with our clients that we experience in our own family. While we specialize in wedding photography, we were just voted BEST CHILDREN'S PHOTOGRAPHER for 2015 by the readers of a local magazine in our hometown. It's so amazing to receive that phone call or email from a past wedding couple telling us they would like us to continue their story with maternity and newborn photos of their first child, absolutely touches us deeply. We've been working with some families for over 7 years now.
We've had the opportunity to work with over 300 couples since we started as full-time wedding and lifestyle photographers almost 10 year ago. There's no greater joy than to see the smiles and sometimes tears of joy on the faces of our clients after they've just looked through the entirety of their wedding galleries. Photos they didn't even know existed of moments they would have missed if we didn't capture them. Our passion is driven by emotion and the beauty of everything around us, this makes all of the long hours worth it and keeps us fresh and ready to take on anything. Yes, even if that means hiking almost 2 miles one way for the most epic shot at Hawksbill Crag in Ponca, Arkansas.
Often times the journey we take to get to the exact location we want to use mirrors our journey in life and we feel that with great dedication comes great happiness in everything life throws our way. We absolutely LIVE for finding the beauty of God's creation and showcasing it as a backdrop while telling your love story. Texas Hill Country is awe-inspiring to say the least.
People often ask us if we plan out our photography locations before the wedding day arrives. The simple answer is, "no, not always." The reason we love being photographers and traveling to locations we've never been is the element of capturing something that is in the moment, nothing planned and always spontaneous. It's what keeps us moving forward and drives our passion behind the images we create for our couples. You want magazine quality images to call your own and we do our very best to deliver.

Since the humble opening of our full-time studio in 2007 we've expanded to our second location in San Antonio, TX. Our passion for everything good in this life drives our work and the love stories we tell through our imagery gives us inspiration to be the best story tellers we can possibly be.
