" I came. I saw. I captured."

My career started when I was a college student studying graphic design. I took a beginner photography class as an elective and fell madly in love with it. I asked myself, "Why am I studying graphic design when I love photography so much more?" Right then I decided to change my major to photography and start my own business. I was terrified and didn't know a thing about lighting, posing, angles or picture editing. All I knew was that I felt comfortable and confident behind the lens, and it was the only way I could truly express myself.

I have been immersed in photography now for over two years, and I take it upon myself to highlight my clients' personalities through the images I create. I love natural light, candid moments, and beautiful scenery. In my opinion, these three things make for the perfect photograph.

I love meeting new people and making new friends. That's what makes my job so awesome! I've made life-long friends through photoshoots and collaborations. I never imagined myself as a photographer, and I never would have pictured myself even 5 years ago to be where I am today, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Alongside photography, I've studied floral design and love making beautiful floral arrangements to incorporate with my photoshoots. I enjoy setting up stylized shoots with props, florals, models and all the necessary things to execute my vision. I love testing and trying my creativity daily, always trying to come up with something new and exciting. Photography gives me freedom to portray myself and my style. I can break all the rules of photography if I want to, and it doesn't matter what anybody thinks because if I like it, then I'm going to keep doing it. And most importantly, if my clients like it, then I know I am doing something right.

Photography is more than a job. Photography is so rewarding to me, because I know I am making someone's day when they get their gallery of images back, or they see the sweet candid moments I captured when they thought nobody was looking. My job lets people reminisce on moments they never want to forget. It reminds them of what makes them happy. It makes time stand still for just a second. And that is why I love my job as not only a photographer, but as a new friend.
