Hello! I am Tiffany Jackson and I own two successful small business'. My photography business is Jackson Signature Photography and my wedding planning business is Joy Filled Occasions. I am a nine-year wedding and high school senior portrait photographer based in the Pittsburgh area, but I serve clients both nationally and internationally. I am happily married to the boy that spent two years pursuing me while I was under the impression that he had only wanted to be friends the whole time. Three years ago we brought home our little bundle of fur (and joy), our Golden, Duke and bought our first home. The house is a fixer-upper but it's the cutest little Cape Cod with a navy blue front door - my favorite color. Now, together, as Jackson Signature Photography, we photograph weddings as a husband and wife team.
My passion for photography began in a high school black and white film course, which snowballed into an internship with my senior portrait photographer right out of high school. In college, I majored in graphic design and minored in photography but quickly realized that I needed to swap my major and minor. Despite my graphic design background, my photography style is authentic. I feel that a story is best told in the light of a real and raw moment, so as I take each photo, I strive to capture the same light that I am seeing with my own eyes and allow my clients to relax and really experience the reality of the moment being captured.
Spending almost ten years in the wedding industry as a wedding photographer with Jackson Signature Photography, I have seen the ins and outs of planning a wedding. Over the last several years, I have had many opportunities to style and plan for shoots and weddings and have fount that my heart sings when I get to do it. A dream started brewing in my heart after a discovery of what real JOY means. My passion for styling and planning, along with my over thinker, over planner, and overachiever personality traits allow me to fulfill my heart's dream by creating a day for couples that fills their wedding with JOY.
