Capturing love is something so rare and special, and I’m so glad I’m a photographer that gets to do just that. I love capturing the moment a man sees his bride for the first time. I love photographing their first kiss as husband and wife. I love watching them dance together, slowly, with everyone they love surrounded by them. Love is the most special and powerful force on Earth, and I’m so glad over the last decade I’ve been able to help preserve these moments.
This wedding that I’m sharing with you today is rustic, and chic, and full of raw and real emotion. This couple got married at “The Barn At Allen Acres,” in Illinois. The weather was a bit overcast, which made for beautiful lighting. The bride glowed in every photo, and the groom, was overjoyed to make this woman his wife. I’ve never seen two people more right for each other. The way they look at each other, the way they make each other laugh, it was perfection. Every second of their wedding day, was that exact word.
The day started off with coffee, bagels, and mimosas. The bride got dressed with the help of her bridesmaids, and off we went for photos. We took photos all over the venue, laughing, and hiding in the cornfields. Finally after photos, the bride went back into her bridal suite, while I photographed the groomsmen and the groom. Photos were playful, fun, and you could tell the groom was getting anxious to see his bride. He just wanted to marry her, he just wanted to hold her.
When it was time, the groom walked up to the alter, and stood with his best friends and family by his side. He tearfully waited for his beautiful bride to walk towards him, and as he cried looking at her, he took her hands and held them tightly, and in front of everyonehe declared his love to her and family, where they were pronounced husband and wife.
They made their grand entrance walking through confetti poppers, and had their first dance together as a Mr. and Mrs.
The rest of the night they ate food, drank, and danced the night away with everyone close to their hearts.
