As a wedding photographer I get the chance to capture the most important moments in a couple's journey to becoming husband and wife. Although, the journey is typically, filled with love, happiness, and tears of joy, I do get a chance to also capture the fun, the silliness, and the crazy; which, in my opinion, is one of the most important ingredients to a successful wedding day.
When a wedding is too formal and serious, I find that as a photographer, I miss the true essence of the couple. Yes, we still end up with some amazingly beautiful photos, however, without the reality, some of the best memories get lost.
For this post I want to show off some of my favorite moments (both candid & posed) from the weddings I have shot. My objective is simple; I want future couples to see how weddings can not only be perfect, but also, silly & fun.
Andrea & Ali's wedding day was a perfect mix of silliness, fun, and perfect moments.
The Boley's wanted to capture those beautiful moments but left a lot of time to have fun too
Sometimes I get to travel... Dylan & Liz's Colorado Wedding was an beautiful experience.
For the Pugh's, their Rustic Wedding came with love, laughter, and a unexpected animal guest.
Last, but certainly not least, Irena & Kevin. They went all out and had so much fun!
