Hey there! I’m Nikki from Whatnot Shop Photography in Cleveland, and I happily capture lovely couples and families in Northeast Ohio. I LOVE love, and enjoy working with couples to realize their dreams and to preserve one of the happiest days of their life in images. This was definitely the case with an amazing couple, Sarah and Andrew. After meeting Sarah for the first time, with her infectious smile and genuine personality, I knew I simply had to photograph their wedding! Lucky for me, she agreed! The details she enthusiastically shared during our meeting came to life at her aunt and uncle’s multi-generational organic family farm. County Line Farm in Wadsworth, Ohio set the stage for the special day!
With Sarah’s aunt, uncle, and cousins as welcoming hosts, her uncle officiating, various friends and family pitching in at the brick oven to make homemade pizza for all of their 250 guests, and another family member making the cake in the farmhouse kitchen using fully functional vintage appliances, it was truly a family affair! This couple was conscientious with their details, using natural and reusable items. Even the arch was a reclaimed awning salvaged by her uncle!
The family’s farmhouse served as the girl’s getting ready space as well as the setting for her emotional first look with her dad, thanks to Sarah’s cousin graciously giving up the use of her bedroom for the day.
Sarah’s gorgeously detailed dress was from Louise Christine Bridal Boutique, while the bridesmaids loved their unique styles, the comfort, and POCKETS of their dresses from Birdy Grey. The guys were quite dapper in their wedding wear from Men’s Warehouse.
Prior to the wedding, the guys had their own little celebration by the barn which housed the beverages. Andrew even had a little fun posing with the friendly goats! (No worries, the goats were not actually given any libations!)
During the personalized ceremony which included advice from friends, DJ NV Ryan Bond seamlessly worked in the background for all things sound and then kept the party going with dance-worthy music and a variety of fun lights under the tents rented from A&B Tent Rental. Of course, I had my amazing associate photographer, Art Goans with me for the day too!
What impressed me most at Sarah and Andrew’s wedding wasn’t their thoughtful use of details, or how stunning she was all day (and she was!), but rather it was how they treated everyone. Kindness, love, and grace were prevalent.
The love they share, organically grown and cared for, is apparent in their every interaction. They happily extend this love to not only their family and friends, but everyone they meet. This couple, and this wedding, is why I truly love what I do.
