We are Jenn and Ro, a New Jersey based husband and wife wedding photography team  and we LOVE weddings!

Before we get into our love for weddings, here is a little bit about us. An AOL chatroom brought us together in 2003 when we were seniors in high school.  After a few years of long distance dating, we got married in 2008 at the ages of 22 and 23. We’ve been together through college, a love of drag racing, basement living, good times and bad times and we wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

Shortly after our wedding, we fell in love with photography. We tried to stay away from shooting weddings as long as possible but after an opportunity given to us by a dear friend to shoot her mother’s wedding, we were hooked! 6 years later, here we are.

You‰'ve exchanged your vows, said your I Do‰'s and finally tied the knot. Now all that‰'s left on your wedding checklist is to thank your guests for making your day so special. Sending out thank you cards may seem like a tedious task but this act will mean a great deal to your friends and family. Mailing out your thank you cards in a quick and timely matter will impress your guests by making them feel acknowledged and appreciated for their time.

Rachel Evelyn Photography - Southwest Michigan Wedding Photographer

Hello! I’m Rachel, an engagement and wedding photographer based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am a natural light photographer currently serving the Southwest Michigan area. My passion is providing clients with tangible memories of one of the biggest days in their lives. I photograph everything from the big “wow” moments, all the way to the close and intimate emotions shared between two people that love each other. I would describe my style as photo-journalistic, as I like to interfere as little as possible and document their story as it unfolds before me. While I do balance with instruction and posing throughout the day, keeping things simple provides a candid and natural experience.

I have been a wedding photographer for 5 years now, and still get butterflies before every  wedding. I take great pride in being chosen to capture these moments for such special people, and providing them with memories so they can share their story for the rest of their lives. 

Below is an intimate and trendy wedding from this past year at The Kalamazoo Country Club in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The genuine love between this couple and their closest family and friends, shines through in each expression and embrace. Each detail, from the pastel pinks found in her bouquet, along with the simple and elegant accents of gold and draping greenery, balance perfectly with the beauty and happiness of the day.
