Allow me to share a recent shoot I did at two amazing SoCal locations.

As a young girl, I was the one who took my plastic camera to play dates with me and waited anxiously after we dropped off the film to be developed.

I was the teenager who never left her point and shoot camera at home, because there were memories to be captured with friends.

Sitting on the couch, it was Saturday morning and I had control of the TV remote to watch my favorite cartoons. Control of the remote was coveted in my house. But strangely enough, I don't remember my sister ever watching cartoons with me in the wee hours of Saturday mornings. Flintstones Kids, Ghostbusters, and more, I am sure I was watching something entertaining when we saw a large plume of black smoke coming from our fireplace chimney outside. Living in the upper North Eastern corner of California, we not only lived in the country, but our only means of heat in our house was our large living room fireplace. On this morning however, something was very wrong.
