Hey y’all! My name is Kandi Daniel and I own Kandi Daniel Studios. If you can’t tell by the greeting, I am from the south! I was born and raised in Georgia in a small town just south of Atlanta. I am married to my best friend and together we have four beautiful souls, who have all left the nest except the youngest. When people tell you “don’t blink” because they will be grown before you know it, that is the truth! This is one of the main reasons why I love photography, to capture those moments in time that could soon be gone with only photos to remember them by.
My blessings; my husband, our four children and their significant othersI worked in corporate America doing accounting for over 17 years and was completely burned out. I prayed about it for a long time and with the support of my family and friends took the leap to go into my own business full time. I have always been creative and had a love for photography. I now can say I am absolutely doing what I love. I put all of my heart into each session and love getting to know my clients on a personal level. From the brand new babies to weddings, there is something unique and special about each one.
I love a good ring shot! I find myself obsessing over them. Something about the the soft backgrounds and the hard edges of a ring I just love!
One of my most treasured sessions is of our oldest son and his fiancé’s engagement. He joined the Army last year and had just finished basic and advanced training and was newly stationed around 15 hours from us. He was able to come home for a very short visit and we knew we had to get the photos then or who knows when we would have had time again!
I am a natural light photographer so I seek out perfect "golden hours". When the sun is setting I'm like a kid in a candy store! I can't get enough of it!
