  • A Dreamy Utah Garden Wedding-Firefly Events and Rentals

    There is something about late spring and early summer weddings that speak to me. It seems by February and March I'm dreaming of all things Spring, and running away to the beach to escape the ice, and slush, and brown stained snow. With Spring comes the lush and vibrant greens, the peonies, ranunculus, garden roses, tulips, scabiosas ( I know such a terrible name for such a pretty flower).  Some of my very favorites flowers that are available this time of year.  Not to mention the weather is seemingly perfect. Making it an ideal time to have a garden wedding.

  • Taylor Kabrick Photo | A Kansas City Wedding at Pilgrim Chapel

    I often times feel incredibly lucky to be a wedding photographer in Kansas City, Missouri. Each wedding I shoot brings me to a new and unique venue. There are hidden gems scattered all throughout the city, and Pilgrim Chapel just so happens to be one of them. My style of shooting tends to gravitate towards high contrast scenes and an overall feeling of moodiness and drama. Pilgrim Chapel for me was a photographic dreamland. You don't really come across venues like this one all too often. It's small, quaint, and full of intriguing lighting situations. For those reasons, August and Brooke's photos are very dear to my heart. The creative energy is plentiful and comes free flowing on tap at this location.
