Hello there!  I'm a wedding photographer...there I said it.  I love to document the story of two people falling in love and starting the rest of their lives together.  I am lucking enough to get to do this for a living and meet some awesome people along the way.

Back in college, I was fortunate enough to stumble upon a black & photography class that changed my life forever.  Even though I was initially there to study the music industry, I fell in love with the darkroom.  I don't know if it was the smell of the fixer, or the solice of working late hours with nothing but the company of a red safe light, but either way it brought me to my happy place.  A place I could create, a place I could be free, a place where I could express myself through art.  I loved every painstaking minute of it.

Fast forward to today and now I get to combine my passion for analog photography along with current digital technology to give my clients a unique product.  I am a hybrid photographer, shooting both film and digital formats.  I really enjoy the authenticity of film, as it give a timeless look and evokes natural emotion.  However, I am also a technology geek so I love to explore with the modern digital cameras and lighting equipment.  When I'm not shooting weddings, you can find me processing film at Boutique Film Lab.

One of the first weddings that captured on both film and ditial was that of Lynsie & Joe.  They choose a charming venue called The Red House in Franklin, TN.  This was the perfect place to host the lifetime of memories that were created that day.  I remember the beautiful ceremony in the front yard, the first dance, the father-daughter dance, and guests mingling around.   I remember so vividly the speech by the best man, who had the entire audience doubled-over in laughter.  And of course, I remember the look of the bride and groom as they took each other's hand and walked down the aisle for the first time as husband and wife.
