  • A Dreamy Utah Garden Wedding-Firefly Events and Rentals

    There is something about late spring and early summer weddings that speak to me. It seems by February and March I'm dreaming of all things Spring, and running away to the beach to escape the ice, and slush, and brown stained snow. With Spring comes the lush and vibrant greens, the peonies, ranunculus, garden roses, tulips, scabiosas ( I know such a terrible name for such a pretty flower).  Some of my very favorites flowers that are available this time of year.  Not to mention the weather is seemingly perfect. Making it an ideal time to have a garden wedding.

  • Decor of Couture Events

    The dream of becoming a wedding and event planner started when I was a little girl. Growing up with 8 people under our household, there was always a task for us to do; especially when it came to planning parties. Somehow, I always gravitated towards helping my mom set up party decorations. I remember this incident, where it was my mom’s baby shower. As my mom opened up her gifts, I stood to the side, waiting to organize the gifts and put everything away. From there, a passion was stemmed. Back in my High School days, I was involved in an organization called “Sister City” the program was an organization that helped plan events and the money raised would go into building schools in Mexico. It was through a Valentine dance we planned that I met my now husband.

  • Michelle & Nicholas’s San Francisco City Hall Wedding

    All of this happened so fast. We met Michelle and her sister in January. Four months later, we drove to San Francisco City Hall to capture their intimate wedding ceremony and got to Castro Valley, where they had their simple yet elegant reception at their family’s ranch. This was the first time we met Nick and their son.
