Hey friend! My name is Toni, Owner and Lead Photographer of Toni Marie Photography based right outside of Philadelphia, PA. I've been photographing weddings, elopements, and couples all over the country since I was a sophomore in high school, so if you're doing the math, I've had my photography business longer than I've had a driver's license! I haven't stopped capturing love stories since I was that 16 year old high schooler because of how much I deeply love serving my clients through this incredible job.
I want to share with you today one of my more recent and favorite shoots to date; this styled boho- chic wedding in Doylestown, PA. If you know me on a personal level, you'll know I have MANY different styles; But I have to say, every element of this styled wedding feels like a piece of me because I just adore this style. Warm, neutral tones, shades of oranges, slightly vintage yet still chic and elegant, white walls, a mix of fresh and dries florals, boho flares- I just love this vibe. Here are some favorite shots from this bohemian wedding inspiration shoot, but if you want to check out my full blog post on my website, here is the link: Toni Marie's Full Blog Post
We made sure to create and include beautiful, earthy tones and elements to this tablescape, and I love the way it turned out! It gave off that boho style that felt warm and inviting. Including elements like dried oranges, fresh berries, and wood is a great way to make your table look natural, yet gorgeously aesthetic.
Anyone else obsessed with peacock wicker chairs too?
Photographing the deep, authentic love connection between these two this day was something powerful, and yet playful. That's what I love about being a wedding and couples photographer; every couple has their own unique love story waiting to be told, so I love to give prompts throughout a wedding day or photo session that will bring out those real emotions and personalities to capture who you are as partners. Here, Ben and Danielle were just having so much fun because they love to laugh together and be silly, and you can see all over their faces that they're really connected despite the fact they know they're being photographed. That's why it's my top priority- to make people feel comfortable to be themselves first and make sure that they're looking amazing too ;)
Some tips for if you're wanting to plan your wedding like this boho-chic style:
+ Choose warm, neutral color tones for your color palette
+ Look at dainty gold jewelry pieces for your accessories
+ Add dry florals / green pieces to your bouquets to make it more whimsical
+ Look at off white / creamier color dresses rather than stark white
+ Incorporate sage- color greenery
+ Embrace Simplicity
+ Consider a loose hair style
+ Elements with texture, like wicker and macrame for accents
+ Have fun with it and make it your own!
If you can't or don't want to do a sparkler exit shot, consider doing confetti shots at some point in the day! This create that same celebratory look and will be so fun for photos, I promise!
