I inherited my love of photography from my Grandma Phyllis. She had a ceiling to floor wall of photographs in her home! We loved looking through old albums together and I cherish the time we were able to spend together. I started into wedding photography because I love creating these lasting memories for others!
What is Your Favorite Part of the Wedding Day to Capture?
My favorite part of the Wedding Day is capturing the First Look. There’s something so magical about capturing the groom seeing his bride for the first time!
What is the Most Awkward Moment You’ve Experienced While on the Job
One time, the DJ announced the new couple by the wrong name! The couple laughed it off and headed to the center of the dance floor for their first dance. After standing there for about a minute with no music, the couple headed over to see what was the holdup. Not only did the DJ forget to play the music for the First Dance, he didn’t even have their song downloaded!
What is Your Favorite Venue & Why
I love photographing at Greenleaf Barn in Broken Arrow, OK. The venue is absolutely gorgeous! The owners Laura & Kelly really go above and beyond to accommodate their couples. It is truly a dream to photograph there!

What’s the Biggest Lesson You’ve Learned, and Would Pass Along to Other New Wedding Photographers Just Getting Started?
Don’t be afraid to reach out to established wedding photographers in your area and ask to shadow or second shoot a wedding to gain experience before branching out on your own.
What Tips or Advice Can You Give to Couples Who Are Looking to Hire A Photographer to Cover their Big Day?
I would encourage you to meet with several different wedding photographers to get an idea of who will work best with your personality and your style. Your wedding photographer will be by your side for most of the day so you want to find one that you like and (most importantly) trust!
