Love is real, deep and raw. It is sometimes uncomfortable but it's that place of discomfort that we give of ourselves something that can only be given in precious moments of vulnerability. Love is a journey of progression. On certain days it can feel perfect. On other days, it can be messy. Love evolves to adjust to anothers shortcomings and in turn evolves to adjust for our own. Love bears all things, hopes all things, believes all things, and endures all things. Most of the time, love is found in the unexpected, most unassuming places. Places we sometimes never think or take the time to look.

I wanted to show this progression in Levi, Lindsay and Lilly's session and capture their photos in such a way that reflected their journey. Their story is one of redemption and selfless sacrifice that brought about new beginnings and created a loving family of three.

As a photographer, it is my goal to retell those true life stories in stills. In every persons life, there are pages of rich history and the progression of life as it ebs and flows has a way of unwraping an amazing tapestry of events. When those back stories or bits of a persons journey come out in a photograph, it is so powerful because it is genuine. These sessions are the ones that I dream of because they aren't 'forced' or directed, they are the real deal. Those are the images that us as viewers crave.

A little bit about myself and my business.
My name is Tim Monson and I started shooting photos and creating digital content for various clients nearly a decade ago. I absolutely love what I do. My favorite part about my job is getting into the story of my clients. To get to know them and to recreate a reflection of who they are and what that story is. Yes shooting a photo is a simple concept and anyone can do it but there is a depth that is found when you can capture those moments to tell their story and inspire and encourage others.
