Hey! I’m Katherine, a wedding and portrait photographer for fun, laidback couples who dream of mountains and adventures. Having grown up in California, I have been lucky to get to explore so many beautiful places. It is the best thing when I get to work with couples just as wild and free as these places. I firmly believe your photos should reflect who you are as a couple, and what better way to do that than in places you love exploring together.
I had been dreaming up a photo shoot in Joshua Tree for ages. It’s one of my favorite stomping grounds. The Dr. Seuss like trees, Pinyon pines, and granite boulders scattered across the high desert make for an ethereal landscape, and the honey-colored light that drips across the valleys at sunset will make your jaw drop. Ben and Amie are locals and love exploring Joshua Tree just as much as I do. I am so grateful they helped me make this shoot come to life.
