Hello world! I’ve been capturing memories for about 3 years now. It all started when I brought my camera to an internship abroad to document the trip. I’ve always had a passion for creating art, but was always terrible at drawing and painting. I eventually found out with photography, I was able to create art and not be too bad at it! My favorite thing with photography is collaborating with my friends to try out new and exciting ideas! I've driven up 10,000 ft mountains with friends to capture the breathtaking scenery, traveled with the University of Arizona triathlon club to different states to capture that morning sunrise with people anxiously waiting to begin their triathlon, and even built my own indoor studio to try out different concepts. I think it is extremely important to do this and not be stagnant and take the same type of pictures over and over.
Flash forward to my 3rd year, I have booked over 30 senior portrait sessions in April. I love senior portraits because of all the new people I get to meet at a defining moment in their life. No two senior portrait sessions are the same.
Recently, I did a photoshoot with an outgoing beautiful group of ladies at the University of Arizona. You can say it was nothing but fun! With a group session, there are more variables to account for. More people, more planning, and more things that can go wrong! But overall, the experience is priceless. That day, there were numerous sororities, hundreds of girls (one girl was even holding a megaphone to speak to one of the large groups), taking pictures at the location we stated out. However, I'm fortunate to be a student and photographer at such a beautiful campus with every spot being a photo opportunity. We maneuvered around the rest of the people taking pictures and captured the special memories below.
