I’m MK; wife, mother, believer, photographer.
I believe that one of God’s greatest gifts to us is relationship. I’m a wife and a mother of three so I draw most of my inspiration from my own family in order to capture real moments shared between my clients. It’s important to me to get to know my clients in order to tailor their images specific to their relationships.
When I’m able to photograph a couple or a family, I’m not just taking their picture. I get to capture the essence of their relationships.
There’s a huge emotional connection when viewing a photograph and as a photographer, you have the power to control that feeling. I want my photos to be authentic, nostalgic, and personal. I want my clients to view their photos and see beauty and feel love.
I realize that when their grandkids are searching for wedding photos for their 50th wedding anniversary party, I had the privilege of capturing those moments for them, or when a mom gets teary eyed while she looks through family photos of her kids when they were little…I’m so blessed by that opportunity.
I enjoy documenting simple and heartfelt sessions for my families. My brides and grooms love my attention to detail and my efforts to get to know them, in order to create images that are personal to them.
I’m honored to have had my wedding work featured on The Wedding Channel, Wedding Wire Network, and Paper Moon Weddings. I am approaching my fifth year in business and I am so grateful that I get to do what I love for a living.
