Love in the Spring

Hello! I am Hannah Roberts with Affordable Wedding Photography! This coming year marks my 10 year business anniversary! I have been staging photo shoots since the beginning of my time (aka 12 years old). I still have my first camera which Santa brought to me! I would have my cousins and friends dress up in dresses and such to "strike a pose"! I started my business in Tawas, MI. such a beautiful backdrop for any type of photography. I then relocated to Brownstown, MI. I still travel to the beautiful Up North for weddings. Posed-64Candid-197Posed-63Candid-210 It took a lot of thought to choose my favorite wedding as I become attached to all my brides and the beautiful memories I am able to capture. The one I chose is Amelia & Jordan. Her personality matched her beautiful delicate name perfectly! The dress was stunning with its pale rose applique along the back.  She also had a very strong connection with her sweet baby sister. That alone pulled on my heart strings as I am very close with my 4 sisters.

Posed-54Candid-124Posed-28 The month was May but you would think it was December. It started out as a perfectly over cast day, which is my favorite kind of day for posed pictures, and turned into raging arctic by 3. I am very thankful that the weather held up for pictures! The sweet flower girl was so cold I asked her to just imagine that it was 80 degrees.

The ceremony and reception was held in a log building in a metro park by the Lansing MI area. They chose a simple yet elegant rustic decor with pastel yellows and grays. The bride and groom are a darling couple. They would quietly send loving looks across the room to eachother. Besides the posed images, I tend to shoot in a photojournalist style as I think it captures the day and events in a more natural way.

I am so grateful to have a  job that I absolutely adore and I look forward to all the wedding memories I have the honor of capturing in the future!
