Lindsay Campbell Photography: Chattanooga Wedding Photographer
Hey there! I’m Lindsay Campbell, and I’m a Chattanooga wedding photographer. Nice to meet you!
I’m a Northern born and raised girl who recently relocated to the south, and I’m married to an awesome guy named Tyler (who also happens to be my second-shooter!). We have a sweet and very cuddly one year old black lab named Lily, and we think she’s pretty much the best. I like starting my day with a run and a big cup of coffee, hanging out by the ocean or camping in the woods are my favorite places in the world, and if you ever give me Thai food, ice-cream, or Chipotle, I’ll love you forever.
Why did I choose to be a wedding photographer? Well, wedding photography is so appealing to me because of the marriage. Because of the commitment. I believe in using wedding photography to build up and enrich marriages, and I strive to create photographs that are emotional, organic, romantic, and timeless.
I got my start in photography shooting on film, so I try to emulate the romance of film in my work, with images that are bright, clean and colorful. My portrait work tends to be joyful and candid - I love bringing out each couple’s personality, and creating images that truly show who they are!
Tyler and I have photographed weddings all over the country, but one of my favorites was this wedding we photographed in a small town north of Chattanooga. Stephanie and Tyler met in 8th grade, and they said their vows on Stephanie’s family property in front of a barn built by her grandfather.
During a difficult time in his life, he built this barn to keep his mind occupied, and to help him heal… And Stephanie and Tyler decided to get married on this exact spot because that’s an attitude they want to keep as they start their life together. To always rebuild, to work through hard times, and to continue their family legacy of love and hospitality.
This wedding was truly a handmade, heirloom, family affair. Every detail you see (everything from the vintage books and bicycles, to the accent tables, to the vases and lace doilies) is a family heirloom, taken from the Stephanie’s grandparents' home. This Chattanooga barn wedding had such a classic, vintage vibe, and I was absolutely amazed when I saw what Stephanie and her family had transformed their family barn into for their wedding day!
Enjoy a few of my favorites from this Chattanooga barn wedding! And if you’re looking for a Chattanooga wedding photographer, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
