Farm House Engagement

I have had the pleasure of getting to know Courtney and Kyle in a personal matter and the fact that they asked me to do their wedding in 2020 was such a great honor. I had the chance to catch up with them to do their engagement session at Courtney's family home in Wild Rose, WI. This was such a beautiful place with lots of room to roam. We started out the session talking and catching up. They decided on two outfits that fit their personality. Camo and one a little bit more dressy. She just look absolutely beautiful in the dress she chose for her session. Together they just fit!  We had sat and talked for hours about their session and they wanted it to be simple but romantic. I think I captured them exactly as they wanted. Their poses were simple and special. As we walked and talked and captured their love, I could see just how much they really cared for each other and I felt very lucky to have been apart of this moment with them.

I asked them how they first met and they both giggled and said in summer school.  They said they sat near each other because they had an idea who each other was, but never really talked before. When I asked about their wedding they stated they had some ideas of how they wanted it to go and that they were looking to use a few ceremony traditions such as breaking of the glass and tying of the knot. They are hoping to do a first look with each other and the bride with her dad. They plan on using the barn for the ceremony and having the reception there as well. They want it to be modern rustic with colors in red, white, and grey. It is going to be such a beautiful day, and I can not wait to be apart of it! Congratulation Courtney and Kyle, may you have an eternity of happiness.
