My interest in photography started when I was very young. As a little boy, I used a shoe box and turned it into a camera— I completed the "camera" with tissue paper "as the film". And ever since, I been honing this craft and refining my technical skills (with a real camera, of course). I love to make couples feel comfortable and amazing! Whether is a proposal, an engagement, bridal boudoir or your wedding photography, I want to make my client's vision come true with breathtaking photographies. Photography is absolutely a life-long passion of mine and I am very grateful that I work doing what I was born to do.

My husband handed me his old Canon 20D and asked if I remembered how to use it. He was a photojournalist and had taught me the basics when we started dating, but that had been years ago. I answered with “sure...shutter, ISO and aperture.” The first few months I fumbled with the camera, getting frustrated easily with not understanding how those three components worked together. I was determined this was not the medium for me, but I kept coming back to it. I would go out and take photos of anything and everything that moved me. After a few years, I was confident in my photography skills and I started seeking out work, first for newspapers and then branching out into weddings and engagements. Now I’m a full-time photographer capturing weddings, engagements, events, and much more. I love being able to capture any type of human interactions, big or small, in a photo that my clients will love and cherish forever.

You'll never know where your relationships will lead you to. This time, we had a chance to document a beautiful wedding of one of the most good-looking couples, Rachel and Young. Rachel is the sister of Lisha Wang's boyfriend (to be more accurate: fiancé. Congrats Lisha!). Lisha is a dear friend and colleague of mine. I knew her in 2015 and long story short, last year, she referred me to Rachel for her wedding. And that brought us back to Casa Real, one of the most popular and beautiful venues in SF Bay Area.
